Kick-off Breakfast
Monday, May 13th, 2013, 7am @ Riverfront Park
Did somebody say free pancakes and coffee? Thanks to our generous sponsors, Mountain Gear and Roast House Coffee, we did! Please join us for a fun Bike to Work Week kick-off — you might even find a riding buddy for the week.
Bike to Work Week 2013 tees will be for sale at the breakfast — we accept cash, check and plastic.
Weather permitting, Marc Mims will lead a group ride from Spokane Valley to the Kickoff Breakfast downtown.

Commute Challenge
May 13th – 19th
Compete with other riders or groups of riders to log the most miles ridden as a substitute for driving. (That can mean riding to work, school, to pick up kids, to the grocery store — pretty much anything other than purely recreational riding.)
Energizer Stations
Wednesday, May 15th and all week long
As part of Spokane Bikes, many local folks are sponsoring Energizer Stations, providing snacks, coffee and other goodies to bicycle commuters. Stop by one or more of the locations for your goodies.
Check out our map of 2013 Energizer Station locations!

Ride of Silence
Wednesday, May 15th, 6:00 pm
On May 15th, the Ride of Silence will begin in North America and roll across the globe. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Meet at 6:00 at Riverfront Park between the fountain and the runner statues (Spokane Falls Blvd and Wall St). A short dedication will precede the ride. Wear helmets.
Spokane Valley Pancake Breakfast
Thursday, May 16th, 7am @ CenterPlace (adjacent to Mirabeau Point on the Centennial Trail)
Further information to be provided!
Wrap-up Party
Friday, May 17th @ Location TBA
We’ll wrap up the week in style with beer, snacks and sponsor prizes — and announce leaders for the commute challenge. Be there to win door prizes and celebrate your hard work!
Thanks for registering and riding!
